I'd probably have to take one off, though my hand is much weaker if I get 3 bet with that pair on board and the other player likely on a flush draw. I would have won more from her, but that wasn't her point in this hand, and that is the point.

Hi mike,

This was a value raise. I felt it would get better hands to lay down, and also because I thought I might have the best hand. However, I was on the fence as to where I was, but it doesn't matter unless I get 3 bet, and then I'd just have reverted to my plan of sucking out. I still can't believe that she mucked the J there, but I am certain that she had it. She's not that good of an actor.

this just again shows that by playing extra strong when in doubt of exactly where you stand, you are better off.
plus having a stupid grin helps as well. being a greek god gets you nothing in poker other than all the best girls.
