Default JJ against a turn raise

The more I think about this, the less I like how I played it.....

CO is 62/14/2.3 over 37 hands

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
6 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises, CO calls, SB folds.

Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero ????

Call this down.

You're up against a dumb loose aggressive player preflop. He's also pretty aggressive postflop.

I definitely call this down. Against a passive fish I'd probably find here but these guys stats show that he probably likes to bluff scare cards.

Call the turn raise. Check-call the river.

Unless you know that this player has bluff-raised other players on the turn, you should fold. The pot is small, and you are behind to every single hand that might legitimately raise you.

His numbers are really high dude.

He's a legitimate LAG and his postflop aggression is over 2.

Meh

AF doesn't parallel tendency to bluff. I'll take those numbers and say that Villain is likely to play Kx to a raise, and happily raise TPNK when he gets it. I need something more substantial than that to put another 2BB into this small pot.

even a LAG would raise a naked K here, in which case Hero is drawing to 2 outs for a 6.5BB.

Well said. I agree with sy and fold this mama-jama. Pot's just too small to chase it.

2.3 isn't overly aggressive postflop. He's obviously a LAG preflop but this doesn't alter my action here (unless I have a better read that he will bluff). Fold.
