Default Seriously, I still firmly believe it is rigged . . .

After having played another 15,000 hands or so, I am more convinced then ever that my Ace-adjustment theory is correct. There is an abnormal amount of As that fall on the turn in the PP 15-30 game, and my expert is in the process of calculating the exact figures.

As I have previously discussed, I do not feel that the Ace adjustment is in favor of certain players, but I do feel that the high ratio of turned Aces is intended to create more action, more money changing hands, more rake, etc.

might i suggest finding someone with closer to 100,000 hands? 15,000 is nothing for that kinda study.

i'm firmly in the "no way it's rigged" camp, but to fuel your particular fire... i did read, back in the day, details about a new poker site (i've long forgotten which) which claimed that due to "most" poker sites randomization equation, aces showed up a miniscule amount of the time more than kings, more than queens, more than jacks, and about tens it leveled off... but the math was a bit suspect, and they were talking about really insignificant differences, so i dismissed it (something like... an extra ace every 10,000 hands).

and no, i can offer no further information, i just remember reading it, working out some of the math, going, ummm... i think you're, wrong, and then dropping it and moving on

Is this theory for sale on e-bay?

Is this person currently locked up in your basement until they produce the 'exact figures'?

Will these 'exact figures' be for sale on e-bay?

By the way, the entire universe is 'rigged'. The transcendental number pi proves it. Also, in case you have missed it TSP, E-bay is having a Christmas sale on the exact value of pi. Get it now before they are all sold out.

I saw a thread about this in the internet forum a few days ago. Good stuff.

This thread is interesting in that somehow it got turned into a real debate about online poker being rigged. I wonder how many of them clicked the link.
