Default Boardwalk Casino-Hotel Closing on January 9th

Boardwalk slated to close Jan. 9 to make room for Project CityCenter

In just two and a half months, I will never again hear that ridiculous music when I walk past the Boardwalk.

Thanks, I already posted this awhile back when it first was announced.

No worries, no one will miss the 'walk anyways.

Doubtful anyone will miss the surf buffet, or those dumb half sized craps tables.

I'll miss Purple Reign.

According to purplereign.net, they will be playing Wednesdays at Monte Carlo starting tommorow, October 26th.

[censored], I'll miss the surf buffet.

Easiest buffet to skip out the check.

Are you nuts? Of course the Boardwalk will be missed. Lowest minimums on the strip? 24-hour Surf Buffet? Half-Sized craps? Giant clown on the outside? Fake dead people in roller coaster on top of the building? You can't get that just anywhere. I think I need to make a trip to Vegas before Jan. 9th to get in some last moments with this true American treasure.

My stepfather is going to be crushed! That was his favorite place, he always went there when he tripped out to Vegas.
