I really don't understand flop check minraise in hand 1.

in hand 2, why the river check raise? how are you so certain he'll bet again?

I bet the turn in hand 2 for 5, bet the river for 20.

The first hand I fold, because I fear a higher flush draw, and being OOP hurts me. An argument can be made for calling I guess, I dunno.

In any case a check-min-raise I really really don't like.

In the second hand, why did you check-raise the river? What did you put him on? I'd check-call the river since you have the 3rd nut flush on a paired board

I'm too lazy to do the math, but if he has a flush I'd say it's about a 50/50 that it's higher or lower than yours, so that sort of cancels out. But what are you trying to get value from? a 3 is unlikly given his flop call, and an 8 is hard-pressed to call a checkraise on that board

I really don't like the play in hand 1. Just call the bets on the flop. Maybe lead the turn for 1/2 pot as a delayed semi-bluff, you could easily hold 9T and still have a lot of outs if you're called. Given the stack sizes, just put it all in on the river.

Hand 2 I 3-bet the turn to ~32.

The first hand I fold

where?

as for Hand 2, with the turn call and river check, I was seeing monsters due to villains tightness. on the river i intended to check call, and ended up raising because i thought his bet was weak enough that a lower flush or weird two pair calls my raise. i dont like it much looking at it now though.
