Default K4o short stacked at final table

Final table, 4 players remaining.

Hero has about 4500 in chips, and is short-stacked.
Blinds (150/300)
Dealt to hero: [Kd, 4s]
UTG limps
UTG +1 folds
Hero (Small) limps
Villian checks

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
checks around
Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero goes all in.

Was this a really overly aggressive move? I was thinking that because everyone is so aggressive and barely lets anything get checked through, that there were no possibilities of anyone having an ace or an 8. Because I was short-stacked, and the next closest in chips was at least double my stack, this was a good time to move. What do you all think? (request results if interested)

You may be shortstacked to the table but you still have 14bb (t4200) after completing your SB. I think I would wait for a better spot to push all my chips in the middle.

If you want to semi-bluff a steal, there's only t900 in the pot, so bet t600. If called, checkfold the river if unimproved.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. That was my first hand I have posted, and the feedback was great.
