Default party 5$ rebuy hands --bubble and image considerations

A couple of orbits before this Me2Rich reraised all-in over a steal attempt of mine and he showed me a pair of kings.

Here are a trio of hands that occurred one after another somewhat near the bubble of a party 5$ rebuy tournament. Comments on any hand are welcome. My main concern is my call on the last hand, I called primarily because of what I thought my image was (I had been stealing the blinds somewhat frequently recently and then was also involved with these two hands.) and because i thought people might be gettting over-aggressive with big stacks nearing the bubble. I tried getting the hand converter to work using the advice in the sticky, but I failed, so I’m sorry.

Hand One (Th 9h): Loose call PF with the late position raiser (but I guess you were getting a good price to see a flop (and T9s plays better multiway). Flop push to the gutshot and 2nd pair is dangerous. Worked out though.

Hand Two (Kd Ah ): I don't like this minraise in early position. (Were you hoping to get played back at?) Good fold on the flop but might have taken this PF with a bigger raise.

Hand Three (Ts Td ): I really hate this minraise in MP1. And I feel like throwing up to Villian's re-raise All-in. Do you really want to put your tourney life at risk to a bigger stack, even if it is a coinflip? I may be weak-ish but I lay this one down.

Thanks for the feedback it is most appreciated. I think you are dead on with your comments to hand one, couldn't agree more.

I raised to 2.5x bb because that seemed more or less standard at the table...very few people were still raising 3x bb and blinds were still being stolen. But just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it right, so i will take that into consideration and keep on making bigger raises even when the blinds get higher. I'm fairly new to rebuy tournaments and am used to shorter stacks at this level, so minraises are more common in the games i'm used to playing because each bb is so valuable.

As for hand 3, i'd like to see if there is any additional feedback before posting my thoughts about it. Thanks again,

EnderIII

If the BB was 1500, a t3000 raise is only 2x, not 2.5.

And yes, if that was what the table had been playing as a standard raise, then that's fine...go with the flow. However, you must consider that when you've made these plays, you were in early position and you've (admittedly) been stealing a number of pots.

Unless you want to bleed chips, you need to make the decision a little harder for the other players as to whether they should play their hand.

Right you are, i'm surprised i made such a simple mistake as not knowing what the blinds were...just goes to show that i need to pay more attention both to my game and to my posting.

Results for the curious...i think i should have laid this down, but overthought into how i would play this if i were the villain...and most people aren't as crazy as i am.
