15 into a 39 pot? i'm glad this worked for you, but it is a bad, -ev play.

I like it. Well played! Probly one of them got KK or another pocket and says to himself: damn Ace. I have to fold.

Exactly how often does he have to fold for this be a good, +EV play?

If I where MP3 I would raise you regardless of what I had. You limped so he can't put you on a premium ace.

My point is that this works pretty good against a weak opponent, but I don't think this works generally.

nh.

I think leading for 2/3rds pot into one opponent like this is definitely +EV. I probably wouldn't normally do it into two of them though... do you find a lot of these tight players that will fold for a < half pot lead here? That probably does make it +EV... I just don't find enough of those guys, though...

One thing I realized that helped me win a lot of $ is that not everyone thinks like I do. If this happened to me then me would see a $40 raise coming back at me....but im not trying to bluff myself so it works well.

This is correct. This play is -EV, especially against two opponents. That's nice that it worked for you, but I wouldn't make that play a habit.
