That last hand was funny... he had minraised and folded alot, and I gave him my BB the first time, thought there was a good chance he was folding to my push... I was wrong, then I flop a flush and get it busted on the turn. GG me.

Thanks for the sweat

Something else to consider is that 4th place only payed out 500 more dollars and I was the short stack of the table. An opportunity to get about 20k in blinds was pretty crucial for me to be able to contend with the other stacks... It WAS 25h though... Debatable

Ohhhh Hiatus I thought you were talking about my hand.

My bust out hand went like this

folded to button, pretty decent stack who has me covered min raises from the button. I folded the last time he minraised on the button, and I had seen him fold 3 minraises to pushes, one which was mine.

I am the shortstack of the table, with about 32k, blinds 3/6k, I instapush my 25h.

Thoughts about this push

5th got 2400, 4th got 2900.

Me being a shortstack, I desperately needed chips if I was going to have a shot at the top 2 spots, and I thought this was a good opportunity. He called with KJ, I flopped a heart flush but the board 4 flushed and he had the Jh.

--

I'm having a hard time recalling any other really interesting hands, although I was played shortstacked to the final table and was extremely happy with my play against some stiff competition.

Sounds like a stop n go would be better.

Seems like he would be getting 2.5 to 1 or so to call your push. Unless he's folded getting those odds everytime I think you need to stop n go there.

I dunno, I think pushing any 2 the next time you can is better than sticking it in w/ 5 high.
