OK looks like it will be the one on Channel 5 so raid the minibar and sit up all night watching it, hope its not an early start on Monday.

From the other site seems to be somoen who follows the baseball

"The final game of the regular season is live on Channel 5. Game to be confirmed, but most likely to be Yankees v Red Sox as it looks like the East division winners is going to come right down to the last game.

Lets just hope the Indians fall apart and the loser takes the wild card.

However, first pitch is at 1.00am UK time, so good luck finding a bar!"

Of couse this will absolutly ruin you as when they show a game on Five they have only 1 or 2 ad breaks during the enitre game! Sometimes none. Watching a sports game in your country is like watching a 3 hourad break with some sports every now and then for good measure

Thanks a bunch for checking - however, the Red Sox/Yankees game is a 2pm start EST, so it cannot be live at 1:00am UK time. There is no way I can wait to see it if they show it on delay (or stay up until 4:00am for that matter, since work is at 7:30am), so looks like I may be SOL. CBS Sportsline live updates it is!

Others on there had said that if its on it will be on in the Sportsbar may only be 1 screen but will be shown so may be worth ringing them up, also there is an American Bar at covent garden which would have a decent chance of showing somthing.

Or you could come and play that game we dont discuss. Gutshot is having a festival this week a $80 ish NL Freezeout on Sunday, I am likely heading down and pass Heathrow so could offer a lift if you are interested.

Thanks for all the help. I called the Sports Cafe and Belushi's and both said they will know Sunday morning if they will be showing the game or not, so I have to call back then.

As for the freezeout, I would be very interested if I can't catch the sox game...I've always wondered what it's like to play over there!

The Sports Cafe should definately have it. When I was in London for the summer, we'd go there when they had pound pint specials, and they'd always have either baseball or Canadian football on. I can't imagine that they'd show it then, but not the final game of the season.

Sunday there is Premiership football on around the time he is talking about so I suspect that will be on most of the screens and the pound a pint is unlikely to be on, I suspect it will be on 1 or 2 of the screens if they show it, not sure if the sound will be on.

Ray, try a soccer game while you're here. What's the most exciting London club guys (exciting footie I mean, not potential for violence).
