Default Any point in looking at these stats?

I was fooling around with the 3+1 numbers a little and I started looking at records ATS and ATU (against the under, really against the line but I didn't want you to think of the Falcons )

I'd only compiled a few teams through Week #13, but I wasn't sure if it was worth any effort on my part (if it can't be used for predictive value, then who cares?)

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre> ATS ATU
49ers 5-7-0- 5-7-0-
Bears 8-3-1- 10-2-0-
Colts 9-3-0- 7-5-0-
Texans 5-7-0- 5-7-0-
Seahawks 7-4-1- 4-8-0-
</pre><hr />

Any thoughts on whether I'm wasting my time? I think I am, but I see the Bears' and Seahawks' numbers and the Colts ATS and think "hmmmmmm"

What made me think of this was last year's Rutgers team, which went 11-0 against the spread I believe (local bettors picked up on it soon after the season started).

Also, if we look at ATU, should overtime be excluded?

Discuss?

Past ATS results are ever so slightly contrarian, so no, no predictive value in the way you're thinking about them.
