Default Open questions for the powers that be(Mat or Mason)

My question:

How much more of this spam in the content must we endure?

I, and many other longterm posters, came here from RGP several years ago when this forum first started. For me, the stated no spam in the content was important.

If we must endure 30 posters every day that only talk of how great a site is with one game, could we bring back signatures?

I wish to show my friends here how witty I am by finding other folks that are witty and stealing their humor and claiming it as my own. )

I think it might be a good idea for the group to occasionally run a survey as to whether they believe a particular user is spamming the group and should therefore be barred.

Mat or Mason would be privy to the group's non-scientific input on these matters anyway and I am sure that the groups input would weigh on their decisions about particular user's.

I agree with you . . . it is getting out of hand.

Maybe someone who knows how to start a poll can start one on Syntax specifically.

As a moderator on 3 bulletin boards I know that making judgment calls regarding online personal disputes can be difficult. Luckily, the recent crop of morons has made their presence painfully obvious. Do the right thing.

Good post MS. I agree with you that something needs to be done about these spammers.
