I have only just started playing at UB

therefore I have only started playing kill games

and I must say (pardon the pun) I am getting killed (saw that one from a mile off didn't you?)

my stats are very similar to regular games on the site, the games seem to have good stats (high vol put in, big pots etc etc) but I can't seem to win.

Should I be playing these games any different?

I am thinking I should tighten up when there is a kill game.

What else should I be doing?

I also understand that I only have 1000 hands....

but this kill poker is getting to me.

If this is in the wrong forum BAD LUCK

I post in the zoo, because it is the best and I respect most of the posters here even Gabby.

In a kill pot you want to be more aggressive, especially if other players play tighter.

You should almost always raise if you are the first person in.

If 3 people have already called and you have a small pair or suited connectors, you can limp in, but otherwise raise or fold.

Pay attention to how your opponents play the kill pots.

If I posted the kill and I'm UTG or everyone folds to me, I will raise with anything reasonable (and if I'm in late position and its folded to me my definition of "reasonable" becomes very flexible).

The games attract looser players who like action, so they will often have bigger pots, which is good, but looser opponents does mean more variance, so make sure you have the bankroll and stomach for it.

i know there can't be that much more to know about kill games, but why not just play your normal game?
