Humour aside, you are pretty much dead-on about the aggro part. Furthermore, even if you dont have a huge degree of confidence, if you are still aggro, many women will mistake your aggressiveness for confidence, which will lead to similar results.

Depends on what results you want. Aggro gets you skanks and low-esteem types, so yep if you want to get through a lot of women. But, quality women? You need confidence without the a-holedness.

I think the OP was the right side of a-hole/confidence here - just, so nice play.
