[ QUOTE ]
I posted this in yesterdays officiall but does anyone know who #1Pen is? he is registered in all of the events. is he jsut a succesful player that might be professional, or is he well known?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not sure who he is but he played his chips extremely well when it was down to 2 tables and on into the final. Knew not to mix it up with big or small stacks and he cruised up about 3 or 4 spots in money without getting involved in many hands.

OFF TOPIC: I loved the final table commentary (as a spectator)! It was awesome and I hope to get there myself in the upcoming NL events.

However, with everyone at the final table listening as well, I couldn't help thinking there were some things being said that weren't so ethical. I mean, I would imagine that all of the players at the final table are well aware of basic strategy once you get there (or else they wouldn't have gotten there in the first place), but them talking about things like being pot committed, who has to make a move soon, etc. just seemed to strike a nerve.

Any thoughts?

I highly doubt the players playing were listening while at the final table

My first round opponent isn't there. Nothing like a by through the first round, provided he doesn't show up.

Everyone one of them were listening. They would even respond to some of the things being said like when one person's hometown was listed as "Don't call me" and the commentator's were going thru where everyone was from he said, "I'm from Memphis boys". Pokermillion even said their commentary was great, that they were giving good pointers on Omaha before the final table started.

Trust me they ALL were listening I was there. Wouldn't you???!

I'm somewhat amazed at the amount of people that are out at the first level, to tell the truth.... I thought at most 10% would be gone, but it was closer to 15-17%.....

Well, my round 1 guy never showed. I think it is funny when you have to win a showdown to end it, and this happens.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (2 handed) converter

BB (t20)
Hero (t2980)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero calls t10.

Flop: (t40) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (t40) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t40) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t40

Results in white below:
BB has 4c 7d (full house, tens full of kings).
Hero has Js Jd (full house, tens full of kings).
Outcome: BB wins t20. Hero wins t20.

Anyway, on to round 2.
