Is this -EV?
Four players left, UTG I'm dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I raise, the short stack on the button re-raises for his last two fifty(all in), the BB calls and I call.(I would've rr the BB if I could)
The flop comes 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] The BB checks and I bet 2/3's the pot. BB folds. The button(Short stack) turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] The turn is the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] The river is a blank. The button wins the pot. The BB then immeadiately starts to whine about how he would've beat the button(presumably he had a better ace)and that we'd now be in the money. I wrote him off as a bit of a wanker, but it got me wondering if there's anybody who could argue in favor of a checkdown here. There was 3000 in the pot pf, I had the BB covered by 1000, and had 2000 left after my flop bet. The CL who wasn't involved in the hand was sitting on 6500-7500. I figured I was the best player at the table and the button was the weakest. Thanks |

Re: Is this -EV?
Big pot, chip ev > any ev you have by increasing chance of getting 1 guy out.
