Default Resteal

Greektown 2/2/5

I have a pretty solid image, every AA-QQ hand where I raise and get no action I flip over to cover for my bullshit raises the other 90% of the time. Most of those raises don't make it to showdown, so most people should only see that I'm raising AA - QQ, AKs. Villain sat down with a pretty big stack, 1500 or so, he has worked it up to 2300, I have him covered. He plays pretty few hands and seems a little on the weakside, though I did see him get crazy over KJ on a KxxK board...anyway. I raise a few limpers to $40 (standard raise) with 99, Villain calls.

Flop comes 763r

check, I bet 60, villain raises to 160. I call

Turn K

Villain bets 100, I make it 300....

Default Part 2

Assuming Villain calls, and you are pretty confident this isn't the nuts or a set and you don't happen to spike a 9, what cards do you choose to bluff on the river? What size river bet do you make?

You say he is a bit on the weak side. So this raise let him lay down everything he is not way ahead of you. So it's ok.
But if he stays in the hand, you must shut down. he has trips.

I think you're in trouble on this one... I read him as A/K and going to cut you...

Yeah, his 100 bet though on the turn seemed too small though, seemed like he was afraid of that K, I feel like he might have JJ-99 here...

The logic was that I thought he thought I had overcards that missed and he was betting his pair to get me to fold. Whether this pair is TT or 55 I have no idea. Obviously the King is a scare card if he puts me on missed overs.... I'm also in that dangerous phase of "I want to win every pot I play in"...

If he's calls you must think that you're beat. And either exit or try to see for cheap. He could have trips, big pair, two pairs, or the straight(beware suited connectors). If this is a cash game and you've really playing at a level like 10/20 NL with good players I can really see this as trying to steal. But the $300 bet will sort things out.
