Multi-monitor Question
I recently purchased a new Dell PC. The video card has 3 outputs. I hooked up my 2001fp on the old analog output and my 2005 on the digital. The 3rd output on my card is an S-video, but I'm not sure if it can be used the same way as the other ports. Can I run the 2001 off of it and the 2005 off of digital and still have a dual monitor setup or would the same display be on both?
Any specs you may need to answer this are here. Thank you, -sloth |

Re: Multi-monitor Question
I think the S-video out is for outputting to a tv. Does the 2001fp have an s-video input? Either way, my guess would be that it would not work. I had a laptop from 2000 with monitor out, tv out, and the main screen, and I could only have two active at once.

Re: Multi-monitor Question
S-Video is really poor quality. I would look for another option.
