Default why copy?

why do some people just copy and paste a persons original messagein their resonse, and not say anything else. is there some sort of reason behind it that i dont know yet?

My belief is that they're trying very hard to up their message count so they get a kewl title. That's why I always recommend to newcomers to pay no attention to the titles. Anyone can be a Poo Bah these days with very little effort.
