Check-calling the river rather than bet-folding is my vote for sure.

. . . I started to fold to their goddam bluffy full of crap turn checkraises that were probably made with bottom pair, if that.

This is a huge one at 5/10 and lower.

When I stopped always calling my big hands (AK, AQ, QQ, JJ, 1010) all the way down to the river no matter what because I thought, "damn-it, I deserve to win."

I don't deserve to win, but I do deserve to lose more money for being stuborn and stupid....

It's bad enough we have gaps that we are not aware of; no use being stupid about the ones we flippin know about...

That's my 2 cents

...when I started colluding. Kidding!

Stopped playing weak off suit aces. Bettiing on all straights with AK UI. Stopped folding flush draws on paired boards on the flop. Basicly, reading this forum for 3+ hours a day.

when I stopped running bad.

Seriously, I think most of us are changing many aspects of our game all the time, AND improving our handreading. I think it is really hard to say that any one thing is responsible for an improved winrate, other than getting lucky.

Ha! Great thread..... We could sell this on ebay as: "Learn to win at poker in 30 seconds!!!"

I improved my winrate when I switched to shorthanded.
