Re: What seperates a good internet player from a pro internet player
There are so many different ways to be a pro online. Tourneys, sit n gos, shorthanded. It seems a lot of people here concentrate on multi-ing on full table lower limit tables. This is how i started. I've been doing this 4 yrs now, and would say looking back, I think ultimately the quickest, and down the road the most profitable way to go is to work on short handed play so you get practice playing aggressive and pushing small edges as was mentioned. These skills become very important as you move up and will help you with blind play which is the most importand part of higher limit games.
If you really want to become "expert" keep studing the game and move up in limits every time you have the bankroll to do it. Playing higher limits, tougher players, is really the best way to improve your game. |

i believe the best solution is to sue him and give all his p.o.t. to micro bob. [/ QUOTE ] I would normally say this is a GREAT idea....except I don't smoke P.O.T. thus it would be a total waste to give it to me. I'm sure there are other 2+2'ers who are mroe deserving. |

All the stuff they said...that and having a Logitech MX1000 lazer mouse in your possesion. [/ QUOTE ] If you plan on a career lasting longer than 36 months as an online pro a regular mouse of any type isn't going to be enough. I suggest a vertical mouse to start. A normal mouse has you holding your hand palm down over the table. This does horrible things to the outside of your wrist. A vertical mouse is held in a handshake grip. Try it, you'll understand why. CTS is bad for your career. It's pretty much unfixable. Prevention is the only cure. |

Make sure you take a break every now and then to stretch too. If you stretch your hands/arms/wrists it can help a lot too. Getting up and stretching or legs a bit every couple hours can't hurt either.
