Hand one I think you are right calling was bad but I don't think it is much worse that going all in. At best I think I am agents a pair and a gut shot. If I push he is getting about 2:1 on his call and I doubt he is folding. With a call I can fold the turn if a fourth str8 card comes and still have some chips to play with.

The second hand I would be curious to know what you think he has. Maybe if he is a complete donk he would play A2 like that. I think he has AA way more that 5% of the time.
