I got a crappy poker set last year from my grandparents. It has the really bad plastic chips -- but they didn't know any better and it's the thought that counts (plus I'm a internet player). And we did get to use it for the first time last night -- we played 7cs and "real poker" as my grandmother calls it (5 card draw). She hated 7cs -- she kept asking "can't we just play poker?" I replied sure, after that maybe we can go outside and play ball. I kep being accused of being a rules Nazi, but you have to have rules to play! We only played for chips, not money, which is good b/c my grandfather cleaned up.

You should wear those, along with a Full Tilt hat, for your next live session. Everyone will fear you...especially anybody you meet on the way to the casino.

Ace on the River.

Card Player subscription.

Bottle of Jack and a deck of JD cards.

Oh, and a sweet hat and SS2 from Interpoker, which was 3 months late, so I consider it a gift.

-Weighing the Odds
-Psychology of Poker
-Phil Gordon's little green book (technically that'll just be included in my spring semester textbook purchase, but my parents pay that bill, so it's like a late christmas present)
