1) Why do people do this to me?
2) Why do I always donk it up in tourneys I probably could have won but then get bad beats in tourneys when I actually play good. 3) Why does too much alcohol make me bluff too much? 4) Why do things become blurry when I cross my eyes? 5) Why can't I keep my eyes open when I sneeze? 6) Why can't I have aces at least once a tourney? 7) Why do I waste my time trying to be funny in lc threads like this one? 8) Why is Scuba's name NOT Scuba Steve?

Is what they are doing helping or hurting their own equity? If it's hurting, it MUST be helping yours. For every time they screw you over, they screw over other players at the table, and this is good news.

[/ QUOTE ] This is only true in the long term if you think that the equity they cost themselves is being evenly distributed among all of the remaining players evenly. If you're pushing more than your fair share of those remaining players, which should probably be the case, you're going to be losing a fair amount of equity yourself, since you're up against somebody who is a little too loose. So I don't think it's the case that that guy is helping you, unless you adjust, which of course you can do.

My friend went to Harvard and he was a legacy, so that much is true at least.
