KK in position vs Maniac
2/4
Villain has $400 Hero has $400 Villain has been playing for 5-6 orbits, calling every raise preflop and also making a few minraises preflop. He has shown down hands like K9 for king high and 23 for 3 high in pots in excess of $100. Thus far he is down $100 and has not won a major hand he has played. Anyways I raise to $16 UTG with red Kings. Maniac calls $16 in BB Flop ($34) 8 7 5 two spades...Maniac leads out for $68, I???? |

Re: KK in position vs Maniac
If he outflopped you, you are probably playing for your stack with this nutcase anyway. A draw is much more likely though. I would make a raise large enough to commit myself and gladly call if he comes over the top.

Because you're not trying to make him fold hands you have crushed.

Re: KK in position vs Maniac
I agree that he is most likely on a draw. Problem is that I am not that big of a favorite against pair plus draw type hands. While it seems weak-tight to fold the flop, anyone advocate folding and just waiting for a better spot?
