That's my line from my Friday Night Classic league tonight, for a career high series of 782. I know a few of you guys have probably done better, but not many.

I was thinking about it and it might be my best sports accomplishment, in terms of doing something few people can do. I've had big basketball or soccer games but was never an exceptional player. I'd say this doesn't make me an exceptional bowler, but certainly very good.

Anyone beat 782 recently?

Ive gotten head from three girls of those exact weights and in that exact order in the past year.

Funny, here at college we call that a 700 series too. Were you also drinking beer from a cup while accomplishing this series?

Obviously you don't know how rare a 750+ series is. People can bowl their whole life without breaking a 600+ series, let alone 750+.

I really doubt anyone here has beaten a 782 series over 3 straight games. Hell I'd put money on the fact that 99% of this forum has never bowled over 750+ If you combined their 3 highest games.

I've never even bowled a series where I kept track of the score.

I rolled 211 once. Started off XXXX9 (and was a wobbly pin from XXXXX [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] )

congrats, my high is 710. My cousin has rolled quite a few 300s and a couple 800+ series, quite impressive to watch

It's pretty rare, I know. In the house I bowl at there is a wall with every person who has shot 760+ and it's only about 50 people (in 50 years or so). Of course some of those people have done it twenty, thirty or more times.

We had a thread about this a while ago and there are several other accomplished bowlers here. Duke was one, I think kerssens was one, and a few others. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one person here has an 800.

Bowling on the next set over from me was a guy who has something ridiculous like 16 - 300's and 6 - 800's, bowled in PBA regionals and national events, etc. He said he'll take the 800 any day, it's ridiculously hard. I had a shot at it but couldn't carry a ten pin in the 5th frame of the third game.
