Explain something to me...

Why do people like the Zelda games? Can someone sum up for me what it is that amuses them about these games?

And as an aside - Secret of Mana (Senkei Densetsu)? WTF? Combat sucked so much in that game compared to Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger.

You can change your birthday in the options and have as many birthdays as you want!
