My native language is Japanese, so I love it when people use a word that I don't know, so I can look it up and increase my vocabulary.

The word that I didn't know before was "pretentious."

Thanks

By the way, you may not care, but the reason why I don't own a TV is because I can't control myself and ended up watching too much.

Also, you're right that every opportunity that I get, I tell people that I don't own a TV.

I love it how people who don't own a TV will take every opportunity to tell you that fact. Believe me, the fact that you don't own a TV doesn't make people respect you, or think that you're special or intelligent. If anything, it makes people think you're pretentious.

There was a good article in The Onion about this awhile ago.

That's the article...thanks!

Endorse it over to another girl and have her deposit it into her account, paying you in cash. Be sure to ask this 2nd girl to add some of her perfume to the check. When the cancelled check returns the original chick will never send you another check. Problem solved.....

Uhh, I don't think people have gotten the actual checks back since about 1998.

I was getting my cheques back up to a few months ago. Recently the bank changed it so that its customers can view scans of their cheques online instead. Of course, the bank charges a fee every time you want to view a scan.
