Default party 1000NL, 33, no set, out of position

1st orbit at the table, no pokertracker stats. Any intelligent thoughts on this situation would be appreciated...

Party Poker (8 handed) converter
Hero $990
Villian ($760)
SB($775.75)
Preflop:
1 folds. Hero limps 10 with [ 3s 3h ]. 2 folds. Villian raises to $25. Folded to SB calls 20. I call 15 more.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) (pot $85)
SB checks,Hero bets 50, villian raises 50 to 100. SB folds. I call 50 more.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) (Pot $285)

keep spewing chips with 4th pair against a hand which if it isn't crushing you certainly has 20 outs to?

I whole heartedly agree. The OP just wanted confirmation that he was right to keep flushing his money down the toilet.

Go back to $2-$4, Chump.

Err... I don't think he's trying to win a showdown with this hand. Checkraise the turn big if you want to take it away.

So rude these people.

Fold preflop at a full table, your bound to get raised behind and out of position. But since you called, got raised and someone called behind your getting 15:70 or 1:4.5 to call. So might as well.

On the flop no set no bet that simple. so many overs and 2 draws.

Only read I can see here is that the raiser only raised $25 (2x the pot) which to me says he wants to be played with, thus a big pair.

I would suggest you drop down a few notches like $100 NL. I play $100 and $200 NL but this is pretty basic stuff here.

This is how you lose 60% of your BR. Just check/fold the flop. There are good spots to fight with marginal hands and bad spots. This is a bad one.

No way in god's name I'm betting this flop. Villian could have big pair and SB could have whateverthefuck...2 5, 2 clubs, pair/flush draw, whatever.

I check and pray for a miracle 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the turn. And even if THAT hits, I'm probably STILL slowing down to tons of pressure from either of them.

People may be rude, but at least they have a clue.

When will you people learn that preflop is irrelevant in this game?

I think preflop is very important - just not in the way these people think.... (ie., it's very important in terms of information hiding and setting up future streets, but not as important as in following strict guidlines by position)
