Default Two consecutive hands: JJ vs. calling stations

Relatively new to the table; no real reads on anyone.

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 folds, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (10.00 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO calls.

River: (9.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO folds.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB.

That ace is awfully ugly, and with MP and CO calling both flop and turn, I have to think one of them's sitting on A-rag. But do I have any choice but to keep betting my jacks and hope they're on straight draws or calling with QT or some such crap?

Anyway, very next hand I get JJ again!

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 folds, MP raises, CO calls, Button calls, Hero 3-bets, 1 folds, MP calls, CO calls, Button caps, Hero calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Flop: (17.00 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls.

River: (14.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, MP folds, CO calls, Button raises, Hero folds, CO folds.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB.

Flop much better this time, but Christ almighty! 3 people calling me down the whole way. I hated folding to the river raise, but honestly, what hands that raise am I beating here? Button's limp/cap preflop is very bizarre, but the Q completes a flush, a straight, and puts an overcard on the board. With CO still in the picture, do I even have 5% chance of being good here?

Should I have tried a check raise or check fold on either of these hands?

Remember, these hands are consecutive, so:
SB hand 1 = button hand 2
button hand 1 = CO hand 2
CO hand 1 = MP hand 2
MP hand 1 = UTG hand 2
UTG hand 1 = BB hand 2
BB hand 1 = SB hand 2

Default Re: Two consecutive hands: JJ vs. calling stations

Hand 1 I would check call the river, hoping to catch a bluff. Busted draws won't call your bet.

Hand 2 I think I would call the river. I've seen people make some strange plays here so you might be good 1/15 times or so.
