Dinner with Brunson, Hellmuth, Lederer and Williams.
Wanted to post here since there are so many NYC area posters. Saw in The New Yorker Magazine that the New Yorker Festival is having a dinner with Brunson, Hellmuth, Lederer and Williams at Gallaghers Steak House on Sept 23 at 7PM. Cost is $200. I ordered my tickets through Ticketmaster. I figure I have spent $200 on lots of stupider things than this.

There is a thread in the News, Views and Gossip forum that discusses the event. That is where I saw it discussed, one of the postings there has a link to the New Yorker Adv. Sorry but I don't have a clue how to insert a link to a thread in another forum, but they don't have that many postings so it should be easy to find.

Personally I couldn't give a rats azz, I'd be more interested in meeting people I admire intellectually than a poker celeb. I was supposed to meet Doyle 6 months ago before SSII came out but the meeting never happened. Since I'm not impressed with his input in the book, I couldn't be bothered to go out of my way now.
