me too but this is the 2nd time i've seen it as "phad thai" on this forum. the other time was by dids.. they are both from seattle... coincidence?

Nice catch on them both being from Seattle. I remembered another one here but did not know it was dids.

maybe its just clever and the ph is supposed to be pronounced with an "f". 'clever'

Maybe there really isn't a "correct" english spelling for words in a non-english language that uses a totally different alphabet.

Some punk was trying to tell me it was pronounced "put." He said "p-h-u-d" right after. "That does not spell put.." Then he shut up.

Upon close inspection of the Chang Thai menu.. it is indeed Pad Thai.
