NL 2/4 (6 Max)...Bullied and Bully
Hand 1: SB is solid, other two are super loose, play slightly better postflop, i.e. (50/15/2). They're not the worst, but bad.
So on flop, when SB bets out in that field, I decide I dont want to play a big pot with my hand. Not wanting to play a big pot is obvious, but does anyone else fold like I did. I'm figuring I'm up against a flush draw, KJish hand, and a set. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter MP ($1058.30) Hero ($444.10) SB ($734.60) BB ($379.80) UTG ($184.23) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2. 1 fold, MP raises to $12, Hero calls $12, SB (poster) calls $10, BB calls $8. Final Pot: $224 Hand 2: 3 pre-flop callers are nice and donkish. Flop caller is bad and wild (60/18/1). He may bet turn if I check, but i dont want to let him hit some gross flush. He's much more passive post flop and likely to call, than bet i think. I could bet less, feign weakness, hope he comes over the top. Basically, since i've decided im going all the way with this (if he has a 7, oh well), did play it wrong? Re: NL 2/4 (6 Max)...Bullied and Bully
I like them both.
Some will argue it is weak to fold the flop on hand one, but considering SB is solid and leads out, and the two donks call, I will lose more than win in this spot. |
