I really like the suggestion of underbetting the flop. I just hope it doesnt encourage the "he's weak, c/r with air" line of thought.

Say I bet 125 into 205 pot (or less or more?), he c/r, donk folds....

A. I call ???

B. And then on turn... if he bets 2/3 or more, you fold????

C. If he checks, you obviously check, then call reasonable river bet?????

A. yes, if he minraises. If he threatnes ur stack again, fold.

B. yes - you don't want all ur money in

C. If he checks turn, I would bet. Then it looks like he was testing you with a weaker K. But check and call riv is ok too.

This hand is an example of why I love calling raises with AA pf instead of reraising and letting him know what I have.

You said he didnt three bet. There was only one bet preflop. And its very hard to put villan on AA becuase he knows alot of limpers will come along. It worked for him this time becuase of the perfect flop, but hes lucky he didnt get busted. Bad play on his part preflop IMO

Well, there was superdonk between us. Donk was just extra money in his mind. He probably figured he was HU with me and if the donk caught a hand, oh well.

However, ultimately I agree he played it bad. If he re-raise preflop, I fold, but good chance superdonk comes along with AJ or whatever and is looking to get a taste of that big pot.
