Default Turn Fold: checking the basics

UTG here is a maniac, does a ton of raising pre- and post-flop with crap or very marginal holdings. Button is almost definitely a 2+2er (26/19/3.66 over 400) and has been taking turns isolating the idiot.

I'm unsure of my image. Against the maniac I've been making calldowns with A-high and picking up a couple pots, I've made some very thin raises and c/r, but I've also been pretty weak in the blinds. I'm whoring on Empire, so he likely has no stats or reads on me other than this session.

Anywho, lots of reads for just a checkup, but here goes:

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, UTG calls, Button calls.

Flop: (12.33 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.16 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 9.16 BB

FWIW, I think my flop call was bad, but I play bad and thought the pot is big and maybe he's on a Q since its now HU and I read that post by Nate and thought "what if he checks behind on the turn" and I play bad.

Default Re: Turn Fold: checking the basics

A simple, "uninteresting," will suffice as well, I guess.
