Default Russ Boyd crippled

Im on the floor with my media pass and Russ got crippled with AK vs KK. He's down to about 40K.

Thought everyone would enjoy that.

Why does everyone hate Dutch Boyd so much? He seems like an enthusastic young guy who has fun playing the game? I don't see him bad mouthing anybody what am I missing? I guess I don't follow pro poker like you guys.

As I understand it, he had one of the original online poker rooms. He ran into some financial trouble and didn't have enough money to pay back the players who had deposited. A company offered to buy up his online poker room, which would give Boyd enough money to pay back those that had money on deposit with him. Boyd held out for a better deal -sure, the players might get their money back, but HE wasn't getting anything. Anyways, they lost interest, and Boyd shut down the site, leaving all of the players that had deposited and trusted him with their money [censored] outta luck.

Great guy!
