Forget bonus whoring: Rake Rebate on a party skin. There are plenty of them around. If your playing 40 hrs a week, this is a must.

This rakeback calculator tells me that as a 3/6 Party player playing 10,000 hands a week im missing out on $350 a week not having a 25% deal. Is it really this much?

Yes.

He wants to have 10k by may '06. Thats ~61 weeks. That's $21,350. Obviously he won't be playing 10k every week, but still it's obvious that it's a must.

Yep. At 3/6 you'll make roughly $35 for every 1000 hands you play. Rakeback rules.

I need to be at AT LEAST $5/$10 by the end of this year

IMO, by the sounds of this post, you are putting way too much pressure on yourself.

If you continue to do so, it will be detrimental to your game, improvement, and results.

Putting deadlines on yourself like the above quote is a recipe for disaster. You can't force improvement. All you can do is study the game, think about the game, and put in lots of experience. The "improvement" will follow automatically.

Play each hand the best you can and let the results fall as they may.

Good luck - take your time.

Just my thoughts...

I'm on a bit of a mission to make enough $$$ to move out of the house (I'm 19 turning 20) in May 2006. I figure I need at least $10,000 but yeah, getting a bit off point here.

Bonus whoring aside, have you considered getting a job to achieve your goal of moving out? Also, what stakes are you playing right now?

No, it is not. The calculator says you'll get approximately $350 per month.

No, you're wrong.

10,000 hands per week at 3/6 equals about $300 per week.
