I cannot move into my new apt for about 6 months due to renovations, so Im splitting time at my GF's in Wash. Heights and upstate at my parents (only about 19 miles away).
I usually stay with the GF during the week but went upstate last night due to the impending strike. It was no problem as I drove in with my mother and cousin (we all work above 96th). I did get out of the car about 20 blocks early and walked due to bad traffic on Broadway
