Default Intertops question

Since Intertops is a poker room/Casino/Sports book if I sign up for poker there and deposit money into my poker BR, can I use that same BR to make sports bets?

Regards,
NoTalent

poker and sportsbook bankrolls are separate.

You can transfer money from sportsbook to poker instantly... but typical cashout delays going the other way.

Thanks for the quick reply razor! What do you think of the sports book? Is it worth it or since they are separate are there better places?

I couldn't stand them. I gave up a bonus to get my money out of there. I also didn't like that they make one wait 14 days before they can cash out. What kind of crap is that? I thought their lines were pretty bad as well. They had the worst lines on both sides (at least with baseball).

14 Days is NOT correct...

It is true that it usually takes a couple days to cashout. And if you are using Neteller and cashing out of your poker account first you have to cash out to your sports book account which takes the typical 6-8 hours and then cashout to Neteller which takes a couple days...

Intertops is a decent sportsbook... their lines tend to be squareish (at least they used to be I don't bet much sports anymore) and they are trustworthy in my experience.

Other options are Olympic and Pinnacle. Both these books have sharp lines... Others in the past have said that Pinnacle always keeps their lines balanced while Olympic tends to keep the lines shaded towards what they ought to be... I'm no expert in this and I don't know if this still holds true. Both are trustworthy books.

Edit: there are obviously others good sportsbook as well but I haven't paid much attention to sports betting recently so I can't comment on other good books

I wouldn't concern myself too much with being able to play poker and bet sports at the same place... find the best place(s) for each.

They make you wait 14 days if you have done a deposit straight through your checking account but you can instantaneously move the money from the sportsbook to your poker account and cashout as usual. I just don;t understand why they make you wait if you transfer money from your poker account to your sportsbook account. Doesn't seem like smart business to me.
