Default Poker in Reno (low content)

I made my trip to reno and for the most part the poker was pretty crappy. They had a pretty small game selection and the best poker was at the El Dorado like a lot of you had said. The Peppermill was also very nice. A lot of the casinos had one table of 3/6 going as far as their poker action. One place we were really disappointed with was the Harrah's. They had a WSOP circuit event there and their poker room definitely didnt show that.
We also had some trouble finding a decent buffet. The prime rib at circus circus looked like a leather coat on my plate with some au jus and horseradish.
We had a hard time finding a decent meal as well.

At least you survived eating at the CC Buffet. I wouldn't want to wish that place on anyone. The SL has a good buffet as does the ElDo (At least on Crab Leg night). Atlantis is also quite good. JA Nuggett is rumored to be good although I've never eaten there. For good, cheap greasy burgers and fries, try the Awful Awful right down Virginia from the ElDo.

Cheers,
NBB

Plus like a thousand for Awful Awful, even cheaper than Mc'Ds and a billion times better. I'd go with the buffet at the ElDo or Atlantis also.

Great food at la strada in the ElDo, as well as Orozko at JA's Nugget...
