AJ with a scary bord and shortstack moving in
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) converter
saw flop|saw showdown BB ($39.05) UTG ($214) MP ($38.70) CO ($105.45) Hero ($142.70) SB ($45) Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $1, MP raises to $5, 1 fold, Hero calls $5, SB raises to $9, 1 fold, UTG calls $8, MP calls $4, Hero calls $4. I call preflop because it's SH and I have good position. Flop: ($37) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets $9, UTG folds, MP raises to $29.7, Hero folds, SB folds. Final Pot: $75.70 I really got a headache over this hand.. There were definitely AK possibilities. There were definitely flusdraw possibilities. I didn't have time to do the math in the heat of the moment, but I got the feeling that the total sum of draws + AK AQ + sets outnumbered my equity here. I wanted to call tho, especially because both of them where shortstacks and would be allin if I called. To my surprise SB folded..! Actually MP showed his hand, I can post later |

Re: AJ with a scary bord and shortstack moving in
Pick a better spot - if he was semi-bluffing with black kings so be it - plus, your kicker is weak to call an allin here (even at 6max)
