Default Tips on Reading for Draws

Does anybody have any tips on how we can read our opponents for draws, rather than reading them for a made hand?

Watch their patterns. This is very player specific, and there is no good answer to whether they are on a draw or a made hand. These kind of reads come with game experience.

This is very player dependent. The best way you can do this is to watch what they bet with. When you see them show down an interesting hand, look at what their cards were and the action they took. Take notes. Review the hand after your session if you found it particularly confusing.

For example, aggressive players will, if relative position permits, bet/raise/cap the flop with a flush draw against several opponents for value. Knowing that a player is capable of doing this helps you define their hands more clearly. Now, a loose-passive doing this probably has something of a monster, but this is not necessarily true for an aggressive player.

Generally, the more aggressive a player is, the more likely they are to be capable of betting a draw. A very passive player is very unlikely to be betting unless he has something solid already.
