I'm frozen after about 2.5 hours, it is like clockwork.

I close down every 1.5 hours and reboot now. (maybe overdoing it?)

Some of what you say is over my head....but it still sounds like it makes sense.

on my old and on my current brand new 9100 I get the CPU reading really cranking up just by OPENING one table.

Opening the Absolute client is not noticeable.
But opening one single table I'm getting around 70% of the CPU being used if I look at 'CPU Usage' bar-meter under 'performance' tab on Task Manager.
On my old computer my CPU usage would be more like 90% with one table opened...and then 99% with 2 tables.

It also gets worse if I stay there for any length of time of course.
But I find it interesting that CPU usage is so abnormally high just by opening a single table there.

When I played there that would happen to me after a few hours... but in all honesty I was more annoyed by the way their software steals your focus every time it is your move. Ever try talking to someone on IM while 4-tabling there? It frustrated me to the point that no bonus could make up for the software-induced tilt so I stopped playing there. Oh that, and they have the shittiest 3-6 6-max selection ever.

ummm....no.
mostly because they only allow you to play a maximum of 3 tables there.

The point does stand though. It retarded to be typing something and have half of it end up in the absolute chat box so you could fold your hand.

When someone disconects a window pops up telling you. Put it in the chat box.

There are tons of tiny things they do wrong along with the fact that their software eats up system resources.

Just signed up there and played a few nights short session so didnt see this.

Tonight 3 tabling after about 3 hours BAM it takes me down. I was just about to email the bastads too. I restarted real quick and when I logged back on and tried to sit at a table that one window would end up "Not Responding" as well.

never-ending bonuses or not...I seriously don't understand why anyone who has to re-boot after 2 hours would even bother playing there.
Too much of a pain if you ask me (thus the reason I don't play there obviously).

Now...if you're just dorking around there on 1 table AND don't have the saame kinds of resource-hog problems that other do then obviously I understand playing there if you like it.

but re-booting my computer every hour or 2?? no thank you.

I have a pretty fast P4 with half a gig of RAM, I notice the slowness, and rarely play more than two tables for the fear that I will get bounced at some bad time and lose a big pot. I love the way Absolute does everything except the execution of their software. It's what Atari would have designed their poker room like in the 80's.

Semi related gripe... AUTO IMPORT HAND HISTORIES ON THE HD!!!!11
