Hero is UTG+1.

Utg calls 50, Hero (has a pocket pair)raises to 200. Villain in the BB reraises all in to 1740. UTG folds and its to the hero.

$320 (blinds+1 limp+hero raise)in dead money in the pot plus the 1740 bet by the Villain. 1540 to call.

What pocket pairs do you make this call with? Do you make this call with AK?

Interesting question, I would want QQ+. I don't really need this pot so I wouldn't get myself too involved without a very strong holding barring a read on the player, which you provided. Hence, QQ+

I would assume the BB push means AK, JJ+.
Though AA doesn't always push here, but calls and c/r's the flop on occassion. So I give more weight to AK, JJ, QQ.

That said, I think I'm calling with AK, QQ+.
