another double shootout hand.
UTG minraises at 10/20 blinds, with about 2400 behind. you're next with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and call, next calls, guy with 1250 or so makes it 140. folded to utg who calls, you call, caller calls. 4 ways to the flop.
flop is 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG leads for 80. What's your plan? |

Re: another double shootout hand.
I would raise to around 325, or 400. If they have something huge they will likely stay in and then you can reevaluate, if you are against overs chances or this will take it down. If not you can push the turn if another rag comes, or save some money if I scare card comes. Even better if you hit your str8 you can check raise an overpair.

Re: another double shootout hand.
meh, I'll give my line now, let's hear the commentary on this one. I called. raiser made it 240, and UTG called.
I moved in. |

Re: another double shootout hand.
given that you called and the PFR'er raised, i like the push.
i would prefer a raise on the flop. you can evaluate what to do on the turn depending on who stays in. i'm probably pushing if the PFR'er is still there, or checking behind if it's heads up with utg. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't mind the call, but I think I'm calling the flop again and am done with the hand unimproved on the turn. He's got an overpair that beats yours- not to mention that half the point of the hand is to keep the third guy in with his Ax so you can take his stack when a 2 comes. |
