check out http://72.3.234.136/PokerStarsTest1.wmv and
http://72.3.234.136/PokerStarsTest2.wmv too.

I just wondered why the others were called PokerStarsTest5 and 6.

3 and 4 are nothing spectacular. Just an introduction and an observed table.

I had no time to watch them yet, but the first one is 5 mins and the 2nd one is 50 minutes.

In the second one I think I heard someone say that "this is a 2000$ NL Hold'em 3-table tourney". Correct me if I misheard.

Not a big fan on the first video...
Im not sure that Lou (the guy we are watching) is playing his hands right...

Also, I couldnt get the 2nd video work.

The bubble play in the second tournament was poor. He folded Q5 against the LAG short stack's push from the SB getting 1935:535 ~ 3.6:1, commenting that he didn't want to double up the short stack. In fact, that's what he did 100% of the time by folding; he could knock out the short stack and make it into the money almost 50% of the time by calling.

Some of the other late tournament commentary was wrong, too, as was the repeated figure of suited cards making a flush only 3% of the time.

Wow, I wouldn't want to pay for lessons from this guy. The very 1st hand with AT I think was misplayed. Blinds are 10/20 and he raises to something like 240 (11xbb) . He gets called by JJ and JJ goes all in on an A high flop. His comment at the end: "took the pot, knocked somebody out, AT was a good hand to play!" Talk about results oriented.

There will be a lot of the video training courses coming out given RealPokerTraining.com's success. And I'm sure a lot of them will be bad. Consumer beware!

I thought the concept of recording a tourney/cash game with commentary was excellent.

I would be willing to PAY for similar videos taken by some of the big, successful posters on here.

OMFG!!! I watched some more of this video. It is horrible! And it really is a play money tournament. He doesn't say that at first. He just says it is a $2000 tournament. Later in the video he says it is play money.

I'm pretty sure that this is an instructional video, to serious players, on how a fish thinks, rather than a strategy guide. As such, it fulfills its purpose.

However, they should have blanked out the guy's user-name, and the table number during the video.

-Dave.

Another purpose: to test all the software/editing/whatever while McEvoy was off-the-clock.
