I agree, there's no reason to play marginal holdings when you know you will get paid off handsomely if you just wait for legitimate strong starters.

If you're adequately bankrolled, there's no reason not to push extremely thin edges either, unless you're really tilt-prone or playing too many tables or something.

A lot of the adivce in the thread is terrible. At least IMO it is. I thought this thread would be dead in 6 hours because folding 3rd is such an easy play. Pushing .00002 edges is not worth it people! You can find MUCH better spots. This is esp. true in a tournament situation when you dont have the option to reload. I would like to hope this thread dies ASAP! |
