Split it 5/10 and up, 1/2-3/6, less than 1/2?

I like this idea a lot.

I just think the better posters need to start posting more hands. I know I haven't posted many in a while for whatever reasons. If you look in the archives nearly every thread was of a seriously high quality.

No way he does it, no reason for him.

Off the top of my head I nominate: FSU, ML4L, turnip, flynn, diablo, though I doubt any of them would want to do it...

Moderating an active forum requires someone to spend quite a lot of time browsing that forum. Obviously I have no way to know exactly how much time any of them spend here, but judging from the frequency of their posts, I would guess that they are not active enough to effectively moderate this place. (My comments do not apply evenly to everyone suggested, though.)

I also agree that we need a third NL forum. It seems like there used to be hardly any posts here; now it is overflowing.

I think this would help a lot. I play in the 1/2-3/6 range and don't feel that I really fit in well anywhere. There are a few quality posters in the small stakes I learn from. But there is a lot of arguing from beginners whose only approch is rigidly applying beginner's principles because they read it somewhere. They have not yet developed the ability to reason/think things through for themselves, or worse yet do not even consider that this is the direction in which they need to move.

In the mid/high stakes I realize I don't have anything to add with respect to analyzing the play so stick to reading for the most part. I try to keep my posting to a minimum here and don't offer advice with respect to the play of a hand, but where do I go to get my questions answered?

Even if you split it to 5/10 and above, which is a great idea, you still need a moderator.

How many posts have you read that begin with "Well, this is a bit above the limits I play, but..."
