Why do you prefer PS over Party? Is it just the format (and certainly with 1500 chips tonight's event had a good format) or is there more to it? How do the players match up? I've never played on PS but am giving some thought to at least playing occasionally over there.

I've recently started playing a bit on Stars. Feels funny. Break even so far (I mean EXACTLY break even).

Default Fourth Break

Was up to a peak of t21K or so... now down to t13675 on table 7. No real hands lately. Every steal attempt from the SB or button have been reraised all-in back to me. Grrrr... damn MORON.

I did get it checked to me in the BB with JJ (two limpers). I was tempted to raise, or even push (each of these guys had about half my chips). But I decided I would either succeed in stealing t2000, or get called and that would probably not be good. So I checked, hoping for a big payday on a set. No such luck--the flop came QKx, and I folded to a potsize bet.

ITM, but my stack is below average (just) for the first time in a while. Without any confidence in stealing with MORON on my left, I guess I should wait for cards.

Nah, I think he's not too bad. No worse than me, anyway. I've seen him at the final table at one of these.

Managed to double up a couple times to 44K. Folded to me in MP with 99, and I make a standard raise to $9K. MORON doesn't fail me, and pushes (after thinking a while) with his $19K stack. I gotta call, as he's done this EVERY time I raise. He turns over AQs... hits an Ace on the river. Damn. Would have loved to be rid of him. And to have had his chips.

Default MORON, part II

Same thing... climb back up to t44K, he goes all in for t30K and I call with my T-T. His AQ spike an ace.

Bleh. Maybe I should avoid coinflips with him.

The big pot I won without a showdown? I had AQ and hit an Ace on the flop. She showed the hand before that she'll raise with AJ or AT, so I hoped that's what she had, and would call.

I pushed because of the two spades on the board.

Good Idea to avoid him. Either that or do not let him go over the top of you consistently.

Also look out for ChipDaddy37. That guy does very well in the level 5 steps. Direct buy in to the $1000.
