Default PPT @ Bay101

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for the Bay101 PPT event and I'm gonna try to have some sort of trip report for you guys even though I'm not necessarily very good at writing. I've played both PPT events so far and have made a good showing in both. If not for 2 big pots I lost I would have had a good chance at both final tables. So, anyways, I'll see what I can do about having that post sometime later this week.

Good luck. Are you doing any partying while you are in SJ?

I don't know for sure, but I'm never really opposed to the idea.

Ugggg I'm on tilt already and I'm not even in San Jose yet.

I got on the plane in Dallas and immediately passed out. I woke up, read my Maxim for a bit and then looked down at the floor. The lady in front of me had spilled her orange juice all over my laptop case and jacket.

I land in Vegas for a short layover and I have a message on my phone- I forgot to sign the rent check I turned in this morning before leaving.

And, btw, I booked the Staybridge Suites that's 10 miles from the casino, not the one right across the street.

This should be a fun trip.

Oh, ugh. Congrats. You're pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The only thing prominent is Hwy 101 (try to get a room that doesn't overlook the freeway) and the nearby federal airfield (which, mercifully, doesn't get a whole lot of traffic these days).

Come to think of it, Bay 101 is also in the middle of nowhere -- it's at the edge of a string of business parks in north San Jose, sandwiched between a vacant lot and the freeway. But it's easy to find.

Hope you have a car. You'll need one in Silicon Valley.

Best wishes and good luck at Shooting Stars,
Bruce I.

I'm still alive after day 1. 12k chips, blinds are 300/600 w/ 75 ante. Just looked at my table on Cardplayer... should be interesting. 2 of the top 4 in chips and 4 of the bottom 12.
